We offer 3 Different Ways To Book, To Match Your Needs !
1. Book the entire property! Reserve the front and back house for maximum space and privacy. Utilize all 3 Bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, & the patio and back yard!
2. Only book the main house! Perfect for 4 to 6 people. The 2 bed 1 bath main house offers everything a small group needs.
3. Only book the guest house! The 1 bed, 1 bath, with a kitchen and living room, is perfect for couples or solo travelers!
The Main House.
Relax in 2 cozy bedrooms with plush bedding and plenty of natural light • 1 clean, modern bathroom stocked with essentials • Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook at home • Spacious living area with smart TV and fast Wi-Fi • Washer/dryer available for guest use • Classic front and side porch — perfect for morning coffee or evening hangs.
If only the main house is booked, it is accessed through the front door and does not have any access to the guest house. Although there is still access to the side patio, grills, and back yard.
The Guest House.
Enjoy a private 1 bedroom with queen bed • Full bathroom • Full Kitchen, with microwave & full size refrigerator plus it's own living space for added comfort and privacy • Spacious living area with pull out coach, smart TV and fast Wi-Fi • Separate washer/dryer available for guest use •
If only the guest house is booked, it is accessed through the side gate and does not have any access to the main house. Although there is still access to the side patio, grills, and back yard.
Backyard & Patio
The covered side patio can be used for grilling on our electric and charcoal grills (charcoal not provided), hanging out under the lights on our handmade bench or for covered parking in a West Texas Storm.
We are pet friendly!
As pet people ourselves, we know how hard it can be to leave them behind on your adventures. Our completely fenced in backyard offers a safe space to run, play, and handle business. We just ask that all "business" is picked up and disposed of properly.
Centrally Located for all things Lubbock!
At The Matador Cottage you are walking distance to some Lubbock staples! 2 blocks away is one of the best local coffee shops, J&B coffee. Then go right next door for lunch, dinner or drinks at Capital Pizza or Good Line Beer Co. Also, If you don't feel like eating out, the Food King grocery store is right there across the street and you can take it back to the house to cook. If you do feel like getting out of the neighborhood, downtown Lubbock, the Depot District, and even south Lubbock are all a short drive or uber ride away.
Game Days & Night life!
If you happen to spend a game day in Lubbock with us, we recommend ubering to the stadium or field. In our experience, since we are so close, we found that it was more time and cost efficient to just uber instead of trying to find and pay for parking. We also recommend the famous Spanky's fried cheese and burgers or anything on Broadway street for food and drinks before or after the game.
Safety & Security
The Matador Cottage is equipped with full exterior security camera's for your's and our safety. All the exterior doors have double locks and an extra safety door latch and are also equipped with smart door latches where you will be given a temporary code to get in during your stay. Even the side gate is locked with a code that will be given to you when booked.
